New Client – What to expect

I just want to give you an idea of what’s going to happen when you come to see me.

PLEASE REMEMBER – I’m it! No receptionist. No Administrator. Just me -your tax agent doing everything from the home/office.

You’ve called 6557 5033 to make an appointment – Arrive on time

Bring PAYG, Bank & Medical Fund statements, plus deduction paperwork

Give yourself 5 minutes to park in Strand St (Forster Bowling Club area)

Enter via Strand St gate to backyard – Office entry on left – come in

Take a seat and complete, read & sign Appointment as Tax Agent form

Sit with me while I add you as a client with the ATO – history check, then print and download the ATO pre-filling report to your client file

Watch while I enter your details into Xero & we’re ready to do your tax return. (This administration section should only take 10-15 minutes)

I enter information into your tax return using an interview process. Firstly medical fund details, then income, then deductions. Finally checking for any tax offsets available. The result is hopefully a tax refund

We print (2 copies), sign & lodge the return online (time – 15-30 minutes)

I invoice you for my services and print 2 copies

You are in & out in 25-45 minutes if it’s a “simple” return (add 30-40 minutes for Business & Rental schedules)

Usually, within 12-14 days the ATO EFT the refund to my bank account

I deduct the fee and EFT what’s left to your bank account same day. I also download the Notice of Assessment to your file, print it and email a copy for your records with details of the refund amount – Job Done!
